The search tool is lets you search for information in the database. Choose the database fields to search from. Then, specify criteria to find the information you need. The list contains the names of the database columns.

Select the database field from the first list.

Type the search criteria in the field.

Select a comparison operator from the list.
The available operators are =, <, >, and !=.

Use ? or _ as a wildcard for a single character. For example, 1?a matches 12a and 1ba but not 123a.

Use * or % as a wildcard for multiple characters. For example, 1* matches 1ab and 123 but not 2ba.

Use = to match either text or numeric values.

Use > and < with numeric values. Wild cards are not allowed in these cases.

Use != to find items that do not match the criteria.

Type the second criteria the last field.

If necessary, select another database field to add additional conditions to the search.

After the first criterion has been given other search criteria can be given by changing the field.

Click Search.
The software searches the database and displays the search results.

If necessary, click Reset to clear all the search boxes.
The search tool always searches the entire database.
