The SPxBarcode application is able to acquire the barcode text from a wide range of devices and interfaces:

Build-in scanner other than a camera.

Build-in camera

External scanning devices connected to the Android terminal via USB and/or Bluetooth.

Barcode text manually typed by the end-user.
If all scanning options fail to read the barcode, the end-user must be able to write the barcode text manually to proceed. This scenario is likely to happen as barcodes can be damaged, poorly printed and used in harsh environments.
