Create New Mapper File - Intergraph Smart P&ID - Help

To create a new mapper file:

1. Select Create New Mapper File in the Mapper Wizard Options dialog box and click Next.

   

   The Mapper File Path and Type dialog box is displayed.

2. In the Specify Mapper File Path box, browse to where you want to create the new mapper file.

3. In the Mapper for data box, select the mapper file type (the data for which you want to create mapper file), and click Next.

   

4. Based on the mapper file selection, next dialog box is displayed.

   1. When you select SPPID- PDMS or SPPID-ISO, the Select P&ID Data dialog box is displayed. Select any PlantGroup level (Plant, Area, Unit, or Drawing) from the PlantGroup Hierarchy section or select multiple PlantGroups in the PlantGroups section.

      

   2. When you select PDMS, the Select 3D-PDMS Data dialog box is displayed. In the input file box, browse and select the PDMS DATAL file(s), or select the folder that contains the PDMS DATAL files.

      

   3. When you select ISO, the Select 3D-ISO Data dialog box is displayed. In the input file box, browse and select the POD/PCF/IDF file(s), or select the folder that contains the POD/PCF/IDF files.

      

   4. The different type of objects and their attributes that are extracted from the specified input details, are used for creating the mapper file.

5. After the input details are given, click Next.

   The Mapper Wizard dialog box is displayed.

6. In the Mapper Wizard dialog box, add the Elements and their Attributes that you want to import to the Smart P&ID Design Validation software. You can also add Ignored Objects under an element and attribute value mapping for the attributes.

   

7. Click CreateXML to create the mapper XML file.

   The file is displayed.
