  1. In the BOM Nodes block, select the specific node to copy and click Copy .

  2. Select the Copy radio button.

  3. Select the options to be copied from the Options box.

    To copy only position, select Position. To copy only structure, select Structure. To copy both, select Structure and Position.

  4. In the From box, select Project Group if you want to copy from the project group. Otherwise select Project if you want to copy from the project. Then do the following:

    1. If you copy from the same Project Group, select the Same Project Group check box. If you want to copy from a different project group, uncheck the Same Project Group check box.

    2. If you copy from the same Project, select the Same Project check box. If you want to copy from a different project, uncheck the Same Project check box.

  5. Select the Copy positions from all disciplines check box, if you want to copy positions from all disciplines.

  6. In the Settings section, do the following:

    1. In the Source section:

      1. Select the from Position and the to Position,

      2. Select the Issue Status and List Status from their respective select lists.

      3. Select the Keep Item Number check box, if you want to copy the positions with its original position number.

      4. Select the With Assemblies check box, if you want to copy the node with assembly structure with the positions.

      5. Select the Best Quantity check box, if you want to copy the node with the best quantity.

    2. In the Destination section, do the following:

      1. Select the Type from the list.

        If you select Automatic under Type, then the positions are copied from the source node to the destination node, and for each destination node the issue status is set for all copied positions as follows:

      • Existing positions at the destination node: Based on the highest issue status of the existing positions, the issue status of the copied positions is set to the next available issue status.

      • If the maximum available issue status is already assigned to existing positions, the procedure automatically creates a new issue status and assigns the copied positions to this new issue status. The name for the new issue status is "AUTO" concatenated with the next available sequence number, for example, AUTO51.

      • No positions exist at the destination node: The issue status of the copied positions is set to the lowest available issue status.

      1. Then select the Issue Status and the List Status from the list.

    3. Under Property Option, do the following:

      1. If you want to copy all properties, select the All Properties radio button.

      2. If you want to copy the position properties, select the Position Properties radio button.

  7. In the Map Nodes section, do the following:

    1. Click Add Nodes.

    2. Select node(s) check box from the List Node section and click Add.

    3. If you want to select all nodes, click Select All and then click Add.

  8. 9) Click Save and then click Copy.
