The fields displayed in the Job Queue grid are explained below.

  • Queue Name: Name of the queue.

  • Description: Description of the queue.

  • Start Date: Start date and time of the queue

  • Frequency: Frequency at which the queue has to be run. For example, daily, weekly, or monthly.

  • Current Status: Status of the queue. For example, scheduled or disabled.

  • Last Run: Date and time of the last start of the queue.

  • Next Run: Date and time when the queue will be started next.

  • Job Result: Result of the last start of the queue. For example, ERROR or SUCCEEDED.

  • Available to Users: This value indicates if the queue is available to normal users. If it is set to No, the queue is not available for selection by normal users.

  • Default Queue: This value indicates if the queue is the default queue for the workload jobs or not.

To edit a queue, click Edit BIR_Edit.

The Create New Queue, Install Queue, and Uninstall Queue buttons are only available for users with the JOB SCHEDULER ADMIN privilege.

Click Install Queue to schedule the queue in the database. You can perform this once the assignment and prioritization of the jobs to the queue is completed.

Click Uninstall Queue to remove the queue from the scheduler in the database. You can perform this if you do not want the queue to be started automatically by the Oracle scheduler.
