You can issue materials for an ident using create MIR by BOM Ident.

  1. On the Home page, click Site > Warehouse Management > Material Issuing.

  2. Click Create MIR.

  3. Select BOM Ident from the Create MIR of Type list, and click Create.

  4. Select the issued date of the MIR report from the Issued On calendar.

  5. Type the name of the person who has issued the report in the Issue By box.

  6. Type the descriptions of the MIR in the Short Description and Description boxes.

  7. Select a Company code from the list.

  8. Select the overissue warehouse assigned to this subcontractor from the Overissue Warehouse list.

    SHARED Tip This is required, if you insert higher issue quantities than the related list Pos quantity.

  9. Select the Location and Scrap Warehouse for the issued material.

  10. Select a commodity group from the Commodity Group list and commodity part from the Commodity Part list.

  11. Select Commodity Code, Ident Code, and Tag Number respectively.

  12. Select Approval Template to select a template for the MIR.

  13. Select Ready for Approval, if the issue report is ready for approval.

  14. Select Zero Quantity to display list nodes with issue quantity which are zero.

  15. Select Only Site Status to include the materials which are of the best quantity and Save.

  16. To add BOM nodes for material issue, click BOM Nodes for Material Issue.

  17. Click Populate to show the BOM Node List. Select List Node(s) and click Fill In.

    SHARED Tip If the Revision is more than 0, only then Add Row button gets activated.

  18. To post the MIR, click on MIR By BOM Ident tab and click Post. To unpost the MIR click Unpost.

  19. Click Approval Sequence in MIR By BOM Ident tab to approve or reject an MIR.

When the project default ZC_HEATQTY is set to 'Y', the following happens:

  • The total of the quantity of issued heat numbers should be equal to the total quantity of assigned heat numbers.

  • You can only select from the available list of heat numbers in the inventory and cannot add a new heat number.
