During MTO jobs, a variety of documents are generated and attached to requisitions as per rules that are defined by the assigned document types.
Every document type suits a special need and is configured to be used in a particular way. Name rules that are used to define how document names are created during a MTO job, are usually fixed texts in combination with several predefined parameters. These parameters must be delimited by the special character #. This is done automatically when selecting the parameters from the select list. Free text must be entered without this special character. The name rules may contain a combination of the following:
Rule Element |
Meaning |
---|---|
PROJ_ID |
The actual login project |
SERIAL_NUMBER |
Generated automatically, Unique within each Document Type |
DOCUMENT_TYPE |
Code of the document type |
CIP1 |
Function that returns the unit for Req Header/Req Line |
CIP2 |
Function that returns the material code for Req Line |
CIP3 |
Function to be implemented by customer in M_PCK_DOC_TYPE_CUSTOM |
The entries are separated by a hash. For example: PROJ_ID#SERIAL_NUMBER#CIP1
