Why should I set the Node Master Values?

If you want to store the Node Master Values for the assigned properties to that node, this page is used. Through this page you can populate the Master BOM values down the existing BOM. The behavior of the population of the values is determined by the value of the Propagation Behavior cell in the Node Types and Settings page.

NodeMasterValues

  1. On the Home page, click Bill of Materials > SETUP > Node Types and Settings.

  2. In the Node Types section, click the node type from the Type cell to view the Node Master Values page.

You can edit the type name by double-clicking on the Type cell.

  3. Click Add Row.

  4. Enter the name in the Node Name cell.

  5. To assign the values of the properties associated with the BOM node types, enter the value in the respective cells.

You can specify master values for a maximum of twenty properties because only the first twenty properties for the node type are displayed.

  6. Click Populate Node Values to populate the entered master BOM property values to the selected node.

If the entered value is "#" or blank, the BOM property values will not be updated.
