This project default controls the updating process for the promised contract and ship date, and the automatic calculation of the Predicted on Site date in Expediting.

  • Module(s) affected by this setting: Inquiry > Inquiries Overview, Agreement > Agreements Overview, > Line Items, > Item Shipment Details, Expediting > Item Shipment Details, Open Procurement Interface.

  • List of Values: Y (default) and N.

If set to Y, you can change the Promised Contract and Promised Ship date on the Agreement > Agreements Overview > Item Shipment Details page if the agreement is not approved. Promised Contract date can also be changed on the Agreement > Agreements Overview > Line Items page. The Predicted on Site date is filled with the Promised Ship date plus the number of transit days, when an item shipment is created. Only in case of using basic expediting (ZP_NEW_EXP set to N), the Predicted on Site date is updated automatically on modification of any of the following dates:

    • Current/Revised Promised Ship

    • Predicted Ship

    • Actual Ship

In each case, the new Predicted on Site date is calculated as modified date + transit days. The number of transit days is determined by the routing method of an item shipment.

    • If set to N, the Promised Contract and Promised Ship date can be changed by expediting after the agreement has been approved. The Predicted on Site date remains empty, when an item shipment is created, and it is not automatically filled if any other date field is modified.
