SAP Requisition Numbers screen is used to define SAP Requisition number blocks. The number ranges depend on the respective interface because each SAP system independently reserves number ranges for external systems, which in this case is Smart Materials.

You can create multiple number blocks for each SAP interface, with the purchase requisition numbers taking a length of up to 10 digits (alphanumeric). The Current Number field is used as a source of information of the allocated number from the currently active circle of numbers that are indicated by the Status field.

Order Sequence - Specifies the order sequence for the number ranges of an interface, that is the interfaces access the number ranges in the order defined.

Number Block. Specifies the number block.

Numeric - Specifies whether the number range is numeric or alphanumeric.

Pre Number - Specifies the pre-string for the number range. The pre-string is concatenated with the number range, allowing you to use different logic to build SAP requisition numbers.

Start Number - Specifies the start number of the number range. The length of pre-number and start number cannot be greater than 20 characters.

Stop Number - Specifies the stop number of the number range. The length of the pre-number and stop number cannot be greater than 20 characters.

Current Number - Specifies the current number of the number range. Displays the current SAP requisition number of a number range, based on the status.

Status - Specifies whether the number range is available, in use, or full.
