You can lock the nodes of the Work Breakdown Structure manually to ensure, that no other users can update the locked nodes and the assigned BOM positions. When you lock a node, the node and all the positions of the node can no longer be modified by other users. From this page, you can do the following:

Modify or delete the node

Add child nodes to the locked node

Modify the node properties

Modify the node property values

Add, modify, or delete BOM positions of the node

Modify the position values of the nodes’ BOM positions

Locked By |
Name of the user who has locked the node. |
Lock Date |
The date and time when the lock was obtained on the node |
Lock Reason |
The comments/remarks provided by the user while locking a node. |
Allow MTO |
If checked, the MTO process can modify the BOM data. |
Allow Forecast Run |
If checked, the Forecast run process can modify the BOM data. |
Allow Reservation Run |
If checked, the Reservation Run process can modify the BOM data. |
Allow Other Site Activities |
If checked, the Site Activity process can modify the BOM data. |
Allow Split Tag |
If checked, the Split Tag process can modify the BOM data. |
Release (button) |
Removes the lock from a BOM node. Locks can only be released by the user who created the lock. |
