  1. On the Home page, click Bill of Materials > Maintain BOM.

  2. Click Advanced Search to enter more complex search criteria and to search in other fields besides the node name.

  3. In the Advanced Search tab, select one of the radio buttons:

    • With all words: All words of the entered search string must match (default).

    • With exact phrase: The search must match exactly the string entered in the Search for field.

    • With at least one of the words: At least one of the words of the entered search string must match.

  4. Specify the scope of the search by selecting the appropriate option. The available scope options are:

    • Select all: Include all the scope options for the search.

    • Include Node Name: Include the WBS node name

    • Include Node Descriptions: Include the short description or description of the WBS nodes.

    • Include Node Type: Include all the WBS nodes types

    • Include Node Property Value: Include all the node property values.

    • Include Positions: Include all BOM positions.

    • Include Position Values: Include all the BOM position property values.

    • Include Commodity Code: Include all the commodity codes assigned to the BOM positions

    • Include Ident: Include all the idents assigned to the BOM positions

    • Include Ident Description: Include the short description or description of idents assigned to BOM positions.

    • Include Ident Value: Include all ident values of idents assigned to BOM positions.

    • Include Ident Value History: Include the ident value history of idents assigned to BOM positions

  5. Enter the search string in the Search field and click Go.

    The search string can have multiple words.

  6. To cancel the selection, click Cancel.

  • To view the results, click the Search Results tab. The search includes all specified criteria.

  • To recall the result of the last search you have performed in your current session, click the Recent Search Results tab.
