I will not bid - Intergraph Smart Materials - 10.2 - Help - Hexagon

If you do not intent to submit a bid for an inquiry, proceed as follows.

1. Click Quotation Details - Quote Reference And Validity on the menu.

   The Quote Reference And Validity page opens automatically when you start working on an inquiry and when the quote reference number is not filled.

2. Select I will not bid.

3. Select a decline reason from the Reason list.

4. Optionally, type a comment in the Comments box.

5. Click Save.

   

   • The inquiry is now protected against update and can no longer be changed.

   • On clicking Save, an email is sent to the buyer notifying them that you will not bid for this inquiry. However, the email notification happens, only when the following 2 conditions are satisfied.

     • On Smart Materials Web, on Email Setup --> Scheduled Emails page, Bid_Declined email event is set as active.

     • The subject and header of the email is defined in the custom package M_PCK_SCHEDULED_MAILS_CUSTOM.GET_BID_DECLINED_MAIL.

6. Click All Inquiries to return to the overview.
