There might be times, when as a supplier you need to specify the container characteristics for a PPL or packing list. You can define the container characteristics at a high level, or you can even specify the details of the containers for a packing list.

On the Header Details page, Select PPL Level (or Packing List Level) from the Provide Container Characteristics at list.

Click Manage Container Characteristics.
If you select package from from the Provide Container Characteristics at list, then you can only view the container characteristics for a packing list.

If you want to define the container characteristics at a high level, click Add Row and type Container Types and Dimensions.

If you want to define containers with more details, then click Specify Containers, select the Container Provider, and enter Container Number, Type, and Dimension.
Select Out of Gauge if you think the loads will exceed the container dimensions.
