You can define error, warning, or information messages in the System Messages screen of Smart Materials Web application. All messages for Barcode Manager/MobileScan start with the prefix MSC- followed by a five-digit number. The message type controls the style of the message box that appears. The Message Texts block lets you define the message text, cause, action, and hint for the selected system message.
The application comes with message texts in English language.

From the Smart Materials Web Home screen, select Administration > Global Setup > System Messages.

In the Messages section, type MSC in the search field and click Go..
The application lists all the message codes that start with MSC.

Select a message code.

In the Message Texts section, click Add Row.

In Nls cell, select a language from the Languages list.

Type a message in Message Texts.

Optionally, you can type Cause, Action, Hint, and Developer Hint text.

Click Save.
