If you need to uninstall Smart Materials Portal and want to reinstall it, you must reboot the machine first.

Open the SMatPortal folder on the product DVD.

Double-click MATPortal.exe to launch the installer.
If you are not logged in as an administrator, right-click MATPortal.exe and select Run as administrator.
Click Installation Guide to open Install Smart Materials Portal.
If some of the prerequisites are not installed, the setup displays a list as shown below. In such a case install the prerequisites and then click Try Again.
If IIS is not configured, see Configure IIS Settings for Windows Server 2019.

Click Start Setup.

Type your user name and the company name.

Type the URL of the server (the machine that is accessible by the IIS).
If you don’t want to use the standard port 80, append the URL with : and the port number, for example, dor-mds-t-aio.ingrnet.com:8008. Additionally, follow the instructions under Using Non-Standard Ports to add the port in the IIS Manager.

Type the database TNS name.

Type the password of database user M_SERVICE.

If required, change the default installation path.

Select the features you want to install.

Click Install.

Select your country from the list to view the license agreement in your language.
You can click the Print button to print the license agreement.

Select I agree to the license agreement and conditions, and click Install.

When the installation completes successfully, select View Readme, and click Finish.
The Smart Materials Portal Readme file is displayed.
