To enable the Smart Materials Portal login, RMTE_COMP and RMTE_SPLR users must be created in Smart Materials. RMTE_COMP is used for the company registration process, and RMTE_SPLR is used for all other Portal functionalities.

Login to Smart Materials Web.

From the Home screen, select Administration > Global Setup > Users.

Click Create User.

Type RMTE_COMP in the User box.

Fill out all mandatory fields.

Click Create User.

Repeat these steps 3 to 6 for RMTE_SPLR user.

From the Home screen, select Administration > Global Setup > User Access for Product Groups.

Click Add Row, select RMTE_COMP in User cell, the Product Group your are using, any Discipline, Role and Nls, set Active to Yes, and click Save.

From the Home screen, select Administration > Global Setup > User Access for Projects.

Click Add Row, select RMTE_SPLR in User cell, the Project to be enabled, any Discipline, Role and Nls, set Active to Yes, and click Save.
This has to be done for each project for which the Portal access should be enabled.
