When a user logs in to Smart Materials Portal Classic or Smart Materials Portal, the software tries to reserve an MSCM-SUPP seat. It will keep the seat throughout working with any screens in these applications.
Whenever an MSCM-SUPP license cannot be retrieved from the license pool in the mentioned case, the application will try to get a different license. This is described in Details on Licensing Workflow and Components.
