The picture below shows the structure of Smart Materials and Reference Data license modules, where a module contains the modules underneath.
For example, to use Portal, you would need a MSU license, a MSC license which includes MSU, or a MAT license which includes MSC and thus MSU.
The available license modules are:
ISL Tag |

MBI |

Typically, MaterialsAdmin, MBI and MSU licenses are sold additionally to MAT.
Another license module is available for Smart Materials MobileScan (MatMobileScan). This is sold separately and not integrated in MAT license.
Two legacy license modules can be found in the application which will only work in product versions before 8.1. These will not be explained here:
-
MSCM-P60 which is MSCM – Milestones
-
MSCM-E/T which is MSCM - Smart Materials Expediting/Traffic Module
The following chapters describe the license modules in detail. The first part of each heading refers to the naming in ISL, the second part to the naming used in the application. The relation between screens and licenses can be viewed in Classic on A.30.04 License Modules/Menus and in the License Modules section on the Roles and Menus page in Smart Materials Web.
