This section explains how to prepare a specification for building assemblies.
Exercise
-
Open the S.50.01 Specification Rules screen from the Smart Reference Data > S.50 Specification menu branch.
-
Click the Enter Query button to change to query mode, select SDB_SPEC_R from the LOV in the Rule field, and click the Run Query button to display the selected specification rule with its details.
-
Go to the third (Attributes) block, and click the New Record button to create a new record.
-
Enter the next available highest number (for example, 14) in the Seq field, select ASS_NO from the LOV in the Attr Name field, select ITEM from the dropdown list in the Level field, and select ATTR_NUM3 from the LOV in the Physical field.
-
Save the changes by clicking the Save button.
-
Close the screen by selecting File > Close All from the main menu.
-
Open the S.50.20 Wallthickness Geometrics screen from the Smart Reference Data > S.50 Specification menu branch.
-
Enter FILTER-FLG-ASS in the Geometric field, select P_WT_1NPS_1SCH from the LOV in the Tablename field, and select ANSI from the LOV in the Standard field.
-
Save the changes by clicking the Save button.
-
Click the Next Block button to open Window 2.
