When you check the requisition line item quantities, there are several things to consider:

  • Does the requisition cover the intended scope?

  • Does the requisition reflect what is designed?

  • Is the correct amount of contingency applied to the quantity?

The questions should be answered with yes if the workflows are clearly defined and set up to

  • capture the MTO from design,

  • import and check the MTO load file,

  • and generate the requisition based on project specific requisition templates.

To maintain the line items of an engineering requisition, select the requisition and double-click in the Engineering Requisition field to open Window 2 of R.30.01. Window 2 provides the following tabs:

  • Line Items

  • Variation Rates

  • Alternates/Options

  • Suggested Bidders

  • CIP Execution

  • Requisition Accounts

  • Account Summary

  • Check Idents

The Line Items tab displays the requisition line items with the quantity fields.

For detailed field descriptions, see Requisition Overview.

Two possible checks to be made on quantities are:

  • Correct Allocation of Material

  • Released Quantity Check
