The node level beneath delivery places in the '(Frozen) Planned' branch of the traffic tree displays the (planned) requisitions and orders.

In detail, the following requisitions and orders are available:

  • Engineering requisitions for purchase for which no approved orders or notices of commitment have been placed so far

  • Planned requisitions for purchase (requisition links defined on the P.60.03 Requisitions Planning screen); only requisitions for which a requisition link is neither present nor actually existing are available (that is, requisitions with 'Link to Req' = 'No Relation' are available)

  • Approved purchase orders

  • Approved notices of commitment that so far have not been converted into an approved purchase order

In the case of engineering requisitions, only those line items that have been released to procurement are available for traffic. If an individual line item is placed on an order and the order is approved only, this line item disappears from a requisition for traffic. The remaining requisition line items are still available in the traffic module as long as they have not been ordered (including order approval).

If preliminary packages have already been created, the forecasted delivery dates of the related preliminary packing lists determine below which date range a requisition or order actually appears.

The data shown here is subject to changes as long as the traffic data of the planned stage has not been frozen. After traffic data has been frozen, the data below 'Planned' (then labeled 'Frozen Planned') do not change any longer.

If you select a delivery place node beneath the '(Frozen) Planned' branch, the Traffic Detail window opens where the details of the (planned) requisitions/orders are displayed.

On the Traffic Details window, the Requisition/Order Number field shows the name/number of the (planned) requisition/order. In the case of a (planned) requisition, the supplement number is added to this name separated by a slash. You can double-click in this field to open the PT.20.21 Preliminary Packages screen. This action works only as long as the data displayed is neither frozen nor belonging to a supplement.

For the descriptions of the other fields, see Date Ranges.

This screen also opens when you select the Missing PPL/Packages node.
