On the Insurance Certificates tab, you can maintain insurance certificates of all the projects where agreements have been created for the selected supplier. If you select a project in the Projects block, only the certificates related to this project are displayed in the lower block. You can enter or edit certificates for agreements of the selected project. If you select BLANKET in the Project field, you will see only blanket certificates, without any reference to an agreement. Blanket certificates cannot be assigned to an agreement or project.

To maintain certificates, select the project in the Projects block. All existing certificates of the selected project are displayed in the Certificates block. To define a new certificate, select the agreement number from the LOV in the Agreement Number field. Next, enter the certificate number in the Policy Number field and the certificate descriptions in the Short Desc and Description fields.

You must select an agreement before you can create a new certificate.

The policy value is shown in the Value field, with its currency in the Currency field. You can double-click in this field to open the A.10.12 Units of Measure screen.

The Received Date field shows the date when the certificate was issued, the Effective Date field the policy effective date, and the Expire Date field the policy expiration date. You can enter the insurance carrier in the Carrier field, the contact person of the insurance carrier in the Contact field, and the phone number of this contact person in the Telephone field. All three fields are free-text fields.

Select the Named Insureds Satisfied indicator when applicable. The Waiver of Subrogation Provided indicator shows whether the insurer accepts the fact that the policyholder and the parties with whom it has contracted have allocated the risk of the insured event to the insurer.

The Accepted indicator shows whether the certificate has been accepted by the buyer. You can enter information about the certificate in free form in the Note field.

You can click the Attachments button at the bottom to open the D.90.21 Attachments screen. This screen allows you to attach documents to the insurance certificate. For more information, see Attachments.
