The attributes defined on the A.50.01 Attributes screen can have equivalents in other software, for example, in Smart 3D, PDS, or SAP. The relationship between the corresponding attributes is created on the A.50.I.02 Interface Attributes screen.
All attributes defined on A.50.01 are displayed in the first (Attribute) block. In the second (Attribute Translation for Interfaces) block, you can assign the interface specific equivalent to the selected attribute. Select the interface from the LOV in the Interface field and enter the equivalent attribute name used in the other software in the Translation field.
The interfaces must be defined on the A.70.01 Interfaces screen.
Click the Query Only Translation for Interfaces check box in the second block to allow you to query for attribute translations without selecting a particular attribute in the first block. With this reverse search capability, you can find the attribute for a particular interface translation.
