The CMGR_RMNDR job is delivered with the software. This job can be used to periodically check the status of materials and services that are assigned to suppliers. On the Materials and Services page in the Portal, suppliers can select materials and/or services which they can provide. If commodity managers have been assigned to these materials and services, one of these commodity managers must approve to give his authorization that this supplier can be selected to deliver the corresponding material or service.
The job sends emails to the involved commodity managers to remind them on outstanding approvals of materials or services which are assigned to suppliers.
Additionally, emails are sent to the involved suppliers in case a material or service has been approved or rejected by a commodity manager. At the same time, the Supplier Informed date is set in P.20.01 screen.
