The software is updated periodically by means of service packs. Information about installed service packs and their content can be viewed on the A.60.70.01 Service Packs screen.

In the first (Service Pack) block, all installed service packs are displayed in descending order, with the most recent on top. If you want to view a particular service pack, click the Enter Query button, and enter the version in the Version field and the service pack in the Service Pack field. Click the Exe Query button to display the service pack with all its details.

In the second (Reference Entries) block, all patches that were delivered with the selected service pack are listed. The Seq field shows the sequential number of the patch, and the MSC Number field the unique patch number. In the Ref. Number field, the reference number of the patch is displayed, for example, the JTS tracking number. The Type field indicates if the patch has fixed a bug (Bug Fix) or implemented a new feature (Change Request). The affected Smart Materials module is shown in the Module field. The release note of the patch is displayed in the Comment field. You can use the Seq and MSC Number buttons on top of the corresponding columns to change the sort order of the displayed records. To query release notes of a particular type or module, click the Enter Query button, select the type or module from the drop-down list in the related fields, and click the Exe Query button.

In the left part of the third (Product Documentation) block, the Smart Materials modules that are affected by the selected patch are assigned. If any documentation was delivered with the patch, it is shown on the right part of this block with the name in the Document Name field, and the title or a brief description in the Comment field. All documents delivered with a service pack have Release Documents in the Document Type field and the Standard indicator checked. You can assign your own documents, which will have the Standard indicator cleared. You can double-click in the Document Name field or click the Open button to open the selected document.

The release notes (reference entries) and documents assigned to a particular module (screen) are displayed on the A.60.63 Valid Settings screen when it is opened from this screen.

For example, the picture below shows A.60.63 called from A.60.86. On the Reference Entries tab, the release notes related to A.60.86 are displayed, with the assigned documents. You can double-click in the Document Name field to open the document.

On the Product Documentation tab, the documents related to A.60.86 are displayed. You can double-click in the Document Name field to open the document. The Document Type field indicates if it was delivered with a service pack, describing a new feature.

To list the overall reference numbers across all installed service packs, or to search for a particular reference number without knowing the related service pack, you can use the A.60.70.02 Reference Num Search screen.
