Define a physical table set on the A.60.02.04 Physical Table Sets screen. A physical table set is a collection of physical Smart Materials database tables.

Then, assign the physical database tables to the defined physical table set. You can specify recursion options also with each physical table. If recursion is allowed, the foreign keys are resolved with the parent tables, and the parent tables along with the related data will also be copied for the export operation.

To define a physical table set, enter the set name in the Physical Table Set field and a description in the Remarks field. In the second (Physical Table Set Details) block, you can assign physical database tables to the selected set.

The Recursive check box means that for this particular table, the software will identify all of its master or parent tables through its foreign keys. Thereafter, this master or parent table’s data will also be archived along with the selected table.

The Select All button can be used to select the Recursive check boxes for all displayed records. To cancel the selection, click the De-select All button.

Click in the Table Name field and click the List of Values button to open the multi-selection LOV.

The multi-selection LOV shows all the tables that are not part of the selected physical table set in the Available Tables field. The selected tables are shown in the Selected Tables field.

Only physical tables starting with M_ can be selected for archiving data.

To reduce the number of displayed tables, you can enter a filter criterion in the Filter Text field. For example, enter M_DICT% in the Filter Text field and click the Apply button. The Available Tables field will only display tables starting with M_DICT.

If the Recursive check box in the multi-selection LOV is checked, the software will check the corresponding Recursive check box in the Physical Table Set Details block for all the tables that are newly selected (in the Selected Tables list) through the multi-selection LOV.

Click the button to move the selected table from the Available Tables field to the Selected Tables field, or double-click the table name. To move all tables from the Available Tables field to the Selected Tables field, click the button. You can use the or buttons to move tables from the Selected Tables field back to the Available Tables field.

To move the selected table up or down in the list, use the or buttons.

To assign the tables in the Selected Tables field to the physical table set as details, click the Select button. In the same way, the tables that are moved from Selected Tables to Available Tables will be removed from the physical table set details.

To cancel the selection without changing the physical table set details, click the Cancel button.
