The Smart Licensing Client displays toast messages on client computers with Windows 10 operating system.

Click
> Settings > Current User Settings > Toast Notifications.
Additionally, you can manage toast notifications from the notification area on the
Windows task bar or based on the notification category using the settings provided
in the Notifications tab of the Toast Setting dialog box. Licensing error, Configuration, and custom message types are enabled
by default.

The Smart Licensing Client runs as a Windows start-up application when the toast notification is turned on.

The Smart Licensing Client no longer supports multiple sessions for a user on the same machine.
