Publishes BOM piping data directly to SmartPlant Foundation. The SmartPlant > Publish command supports the following file types:

  • Shape2d (.sha)

  • SmartSketch (.igr)

The first stage of the publish operation is generation of an isometric drawing in one of the supported formats. This drawing must be a multi-sheet document. After drawing generation completes, each pipeline in the piping data file, including its collection of components, is published as a pipeline object. This piping data can then be retrieved by other authoring tools, such as SmartPlant Materials.

  • To output an isometric drawing as a multi-sheet document, set Drawing Manager.Drawing File.Output File.Drawings Per File to One per sheet. See the ISOGEN Configuration Help.
