Smart Interop Publisher cannot find any .log files for the translation or publish status displayed in the Translation Status or Publish Status columns. Smart Interop Publisher can generate various log files to help you analyze and correct problems with graphics throughout your workflow.

  1. Make sure the .log file or the folder containing the .log file was not deleted. Log file locations include:

    • The translation .log files reside in the Smart Model or Smart Drawing designated during translation.

    • The publish .log files reside in the Smart Model translation ZVF subfolder.

    • You can turn on the creation of a graphics-specific .log file and its location in Project Settings. See Define project settings.

  2. Update or re-translate the Smart Model or Smart Drawing files.

SHARED Tip Check the project settings log file size. Information sent to a log file is accumulated and its size could get extremely large after just a few translation operations. If the file size gets too large, translation operations can fail. Delete the log file so that Smart Interop Publisher generates a new log file at the next translation.
