Before you can work with sites and perform management activities under a site, you must define the Site Administrator Group and the users assigned to it.

To create or import sites, you must have a SuperAdmin role, defined in the Web Application.

When importing or creating a new site, choose the group that you want to be the Site Administrator Group.

The 'Refresh site users' option updates the site roles, so that users defined in the Smart Engineering Manager Web API are granted privileges to perform site management activities in the Desktop (legacy) software.
