Backup and Restore

Oracle backup and restore operations are now performed using Oracle Data Pump technology. You can learn more about this technology on the Oracle Help Center. You can still restore backups that were performed in earlier versions of Smart Engineering Manager; however, if you back up an Oracle site or plant in Smart Engineering Manager 12, it cannot be restored using an earlier version of Smart Engineering Manager.
