When your plant is registered with HxGN SDx2, the software implements integrated revisions that are defined by HxGN SDx2. For example, when revising a report document, the software first checks whether the document has an integrated revision and then assigns the appropriate revision scheme automatically. After a document is revised, it is part of automatic sharing.
The format for Major and Minor revisions is determined by the selection made from the Revision Scheme list that is editable in the HxGN SDx2, Revise dialog. When selected, both minor and major revisions display together in the same properties field and in the tool’s database. After you apply a new major revision, the numbering of the minor revision restarts.
When you manually revise a document, you create a revision for the document with a Major and Minor set, depending on the revision scheme you select. Specify the document revision using the Integration > Revise Documents command.
After saving the revision number, you can re-share the document with the new revision information. After a document is revised, its revision number cannot be deleted from Intergraph Smart Electrical.

If you are working in a HxGN SDx2 integrated environment, you cannot modify the Major and Minor revision data, but you can modify the other revision information on the document.
