You can update the SPELSIODataMap.xml mapping file manually using Intergraph Smart Electrical's Integration > Upgrade Schema menu command, or it gets updated automatically based on the Schematic Scheduler Service's schedule.
The Integration >Upgrade Schema menu command is enabled when the software detects that the schema version needs to be updated.
The Integration > Publish/Share command and the Integration > Revise Documents command are enabled when the software detects that the schema map file is up to date.
To update a schema with a lower version, do the following:

Select Integration > Upgrade Schema.
The software updates the schema map file and displays a confirmation message, indicating whether the upgrade was successful or if it failed.
To update a schema with a higher version, do the following:
A schema map file that has a greater version is an indication it was updated by another client connected to the same plant and already upgraded the Schema. The integration activities for the plant are stopped until the software upgrade is complete.
The software triggers a message requesting that you upgrade to the latest Intergraph Smart Electrical hotfix.
In this case, do the following:
Upgrade Intergraph Smart Electrical to the latest hotfix before proceeding with the integration task. The latest hotfix includes a newer version of the SPELSIODataMap.xml mapping file. For information about Intergraph Smart Electrical latest hotfix, connect to Smart Community.
