You can mark all the unassociated graphical elements in an open drawing so that you can easily distinguish between associated graphical elements and the unassociated ones (auxiliary graphics and symbols). You create these markings by selecting specific settings in the Define Item Type Symbology window in Options Manager.
-
In Options Manager, select Options > Item Type Symbology > Define.
-
In the Define Item Type Symbology window, select Unassociated Graphics from the Item type list.
-
From the Document type list, select Composite Drawings and Conventional CBDs.
-
In the Define Item Type Symbology window, select your definitions as you require. See Define an Item Type Symbol in the Options Manager help.
-
In Smart Electrical, open a drawing and select View > Mark Unassociated Graphics. You can also select on the Edit drawing toolbar.
-
To cancel the marking of unassociated graphics, select again.
-
If an auxiliary graphic contains text, the software displays this text in the same color that you defined for the auxiliary graphic.
-
Smart Electrical does not mark OLE objects as unassociated graphics because the application does not treat OLE objects as unassociated graphics and OLE objects do not respond to layer styling.
