This option allows you to open an external file that is associated with a document reference.

In the Electrical Index, select an electrical item.

Select Actions > Associate Document.
You can also open an associated document by selecting Actions > Define Document Reference.

On the Associate Documents dialog or the Document Reference Definition dialog, under List, select the document that you want to open.

On the Document Reference Definition dialog, under Filter by, select the required document category and type.

Select Open.
