Log on to SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client as an administrator.

Click Smart Construction > Find > Administration > Options.

In the Find Smart Construction Options dialog box, type SPC System Options, and click OK.

In the search results, right-click SPC System Options, and select Update.

Verify that the Automatically attach related documents when an IWP is created option is selected to automatically attach files to IWPs on creation.
