Create a new crew in the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client - Intergraph Smart Construction - Hotfix 14 - Help - Hexagon

1. Log on to SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client.

2. Click Smart Construction > New > Crew to open the New Crew dialog box.

3. Type a name for the crew in the Name box.

4. Type a description for the crew in the Description box.

5. Type a value in the Crew Size box.

6. Select a contractor from the Contractor box.

7. Click Finish to save changes and create the new crew.

You can create a crew from a contractor object in the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client. Search for or create a contractor, then right-click the contractor object and select New Crew to open the New Crew dialog box.

When named crews are created, each crew is assigned a resource ID, as determined by ENS. These crews can be imported into Primavera P6. For more information, see Importing your schedule to Primavera P6 from Smart Construction.
