When you exclude a filter from a subfiltering set, the filter displays in the model or drawing, but it is used as a reference point - the filter is not selectable by default.

  1. Open a model or a drawing.

  2. Add a filter to the model or drawing.

  3. Add another filter (or multiple filters) to the 3D model.

  4. Click Enable Subfiltering on the filter name to enable subfiltering for the selected filter and all previously applied filters.

  5. Click Change Filter Options on the filter you want to exclude from the subfiltering set.

  6. On the Options box, click Exclude from subfilter option.

  7. Click the Selectable option if you choose to make the filter selectable. By default, the excluded subfilter is not selectable.
