Beginning with HF1, material forecast data is retrieved from its source Materials database and stored in a cache for quicker access within Smart Construction. This caching mechanism is controlled by a scheduler task with a polling interval that can be configured using the procedure below.

In SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client, click Find > Administration > Schedulers.

Right-click on Smart Construction Materials Schedulers and click Update.
The default polling interval is set to 14,400,000 milliseconds, which is 4 hours.
