After you add components to an IWP, a sequence number is assigned. You can change the sequence of the components in an IWP to create a hang sequence. The sequence of components is specific to each IWP, so if a component is included in another IWP, it might be listed in a different sequence.

Click Work Packages on the project home page.

Select an IWP from the Work Packages browser.

Click Components on the open IWP to view components.

Add a number to the Sequence column.

Click outside of the Components window or press the TAB key to save changes.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 until components are in your preferred order.
