Click Work Packages on the project home page.

Select an IWP from the Work Packages browser.

Click Constraints.

Click New Constraint to open the Add Constraint dialog box.

Click Expand
to expand the Available Construction Resources browser on the bottom of the Add Constraint dialog box.
You can search for a resource name in the Search box on the Available Construction Resources browser.

Navigate to a specific level in the resource hierarchy.
Select a resource, or click any category bar on any level to navigate to that level.
The category bar expands to display the construction resources on the selected level.

Select a resource from the Available Construction Resources browser to populate constraint details on the New Constraint form.

Click Create new in the Available construction resources browser to create a new construction resource. For more information, see Create a construction resource.

Specify the quantity of the constraint in the Quantity box.

Specify duration by typing a value in the Duration box, and select a time period.

Type a description for the constraint in the Description box.
