Add, update, view, or remove IWP constraints - Intergraph Smart Construction - 2019 (7.0) - Help - Hexagon PPM

As of Version 2019, constraints are managed at the component level. For more information, see Create, view, and manage constraints.

The ability to relate constraints to an IWP is only available on systems where this functionality has been enabled by an administrator. For details, see Relating constraints to IWPs.

Required resources for activities can be added to IWPs as constraints. Resource requirements must be planned and managed for construction activities in a project. Examples of resource requirements include (but are not limited to) permits required for work, crews, scaffolding, and equipment needed for the site. Smart Construction administrators can plan and manage the resources that are available for IWPs.

The constraints associated with an IWP are planned and managed based on the schedule, availability, and other factors.
