The work package module is now available with the Windows mobile application. You can search, view and edit work steps using this function with in the mobile application.

This function allows you to search for work packages on the basis of

  • Systemization

  • WBS

  • Location

Each work pack module contains work pack steps, reference documents and punch lists. You can click on each work step to view the tasks associated with it and edit the status if required.

The Windows Application allows you to add all the reference documents related to a task model. You can access these documents in offline mode too, after syncing the application.

To attach a document to a task model in on-line mode, follow these steps:

  1. Select Tasks on the windows Application.

  2. Select a task and tap on the option Task Points displayed at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Go to Reference Documents, to view the attached documents for the selected Task model.

  4. Go to Punchlists, to view the attached punchlists for the selected Task model.

  5. After adding the documents, navigate back to the home page and click Sync.

To add reference documents in a work package, follow these steps:

  1. Select Tasks on the windows Application.

  2. Select a task and tap on the option Task Points displayed at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Go to Reference Documents, to view the attached documents for the selected work pack module.

  4. Go to Punchlists, to view the attached punchlists for the selected work pack.

  5. After adding the documents, navigate back to the home page and click Sync.

Progress

To add or display progress methods in work packages, a new field Progress has been added.

It has three options:

  • Create by Man hour weighted value (Budget MH)

  • Create by Cost weighted value (Plan WTV)

  • Default- No progress measurement required

On selecting one of the above options, the field with entered value is displayed on the work package record and the corresponding smart forms.

Calculate Progress

Firstly, add the work completion percentage in the newly added column (% completion) in the Work Package main panel. A new tab Calculate progress has been added to monitor the efficiency and work progress using Man hours (MH), WTV as base.You can find this tab on the bottom right corner of the work package steps window. This feature can also be used to track progress for Hand over package and is displayed on the smart forms pertaining to the work package progress or completion.
