Go to Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

Navigate to Object Explorer and select your server name

Expand the Database section

Right click the database name and select Restore Database

In the Restore Database window, select the Source.

If the database was backed up and stored at the default location, the .bak file name is displayed in the list

If the backup file/.bak file is stored at some other location, select Device and browse to the location of the .bak file:

Select the backup file, and enter the name you want to give your database. Click OK.

Refresh the Databases folder to verify the database was restored.
