Smart Completions Version
5.3.19

Multiple users of different companies and work groups will be engaged and accessed to work on in completions activities daily at their specified area, system or workstage.

In such scenarios, setting boundaries for users to access data to view/ edit is important.

Using User Boundary Definition, you can:

  • Hide views/managers for any unrelated tasks, to improve access to the managers only for the tasks required.

  • Restrict users from viewing data or performing activity for the tasks which they are not responsible for.

  • Limit job activity errors by providing access to only specified users.

Smart Completions allows you to set up user boundary restrictions. You can define the boundary restrictions by using the attributes mentioned:

  • Responsible Workgroup

  • Responsible Company

  • Location Breakdown (Area)

  • Process Breakdown (Systems)

  • Work Breakdown (Stages)

User can view and execute the tasks, punch lists, job cards, work packages and certificates within the boundary restriction applied, if the module configured in vUserApplications has the appropriate selections assigned for Workgroup and Company. The rights boundaries (areas, systems, stages) are used regardless of the workgroup or company assigned to any module that has these structures.
