What happens when I submit a request?

A new case number is generated for the request, the request is processed, and an email notification is sent to the users that they are onboarded successfully.

When should I submit a user request?

You can submit a user request when you want to add, lock, unlock, change, or delete a user from an estate.

Why is the Submit button enabled only for some requests?

The Submit button is enabled only when you have the permissions to edit and submit requests for the selected estate.

  1. Click the estate ID or estate name on the Estate Users page display.

  2. Click Submit to submit the user requests.

You can view the Submit button only if there are pending cases to be submitted. You can view the number of pending cases in the Request Status section.

  3. Select one or more Estate User Request check boxes.

  4. If you want to include comments, click the Comments tab.

  5. Click Submit. Based on the setting Enable Enhanced User Onboarding, the onboarding process either remains same or gets fast forwarded as follows:

    • If the setting is enabled, the user onboarding process is completed immediately. The Cloud Portal opens the Role Management page for each product assigned to users in separate tabs from where you can assign Roles to the users.

    • If the setting is not enabled, the user onboarding process remains same where you (Customer Admin (CA)) must coordinate with the Support Team to complete the onboarding process.

  6. (Optional) Click Notify to send an email notification to the users that they are onboarded successfully.

  • The setting Enable Enhanced User Onboarding helps you fast forward the onboarding process. With Enhanced Onboarding, the provisioning of Smart Community Access is automated.

  • If there is any error in onboarding the user, the support team, onboarding team, and the customer administrator are notified through an email.

  • Before a request is submitted, its Request Status is set to Pending Submit. After the request is submitted, the Request Status changes to Submitted.

  • After you submit user request(s), a case number is generated.

  • If you do not want to submit the request, click Cancel Request in the properties pane to cancel the request.

  • You can submit user requests only if you are an estate admin company or designated estate admin company CA.
