Introduction

Single Sign-On (SSO) is a user authentication service that allows a user to use one set of login credentials to access many applications. Intergraph Smart Cloud supports SSO. You can setup SSO to use your corporate credentials to sign in to Smart Cloud applications.

Terminology

Single Sign-On (SSO) is the ability for two disjoint Identity Providers (IDP/IdP) to trust each other such that a user logged into one does not need to log in again for the second.

The Relying Party (RP) is the system that relies on an Identity Provider to authenticate a user.

The Customer-specific Identity Provider or External Identity Provider is the customer' identity system that authenticates a user.
