Displays properties for conduit branch features. A conduit along leg feature is a logical object on a straight section of conduit that represents a branch, transition, or reducer.

The order in which the properties display in your view depends on your configuration.

Angle

Specifies the angle associated with the object.

Approval State

Specifies the status of the selected object or filter. Changing this property sets the Status. The display depends on your access level. You might be unable to change the status of the object. The list is defined by the ApprovalStatus codelist.

Smart 3Dx saves an object to the database when you change that object's status. Use Undo (CTRL + Z) to reverse the status change.

You can only edit or manipulate an object with a status of Working.

Branch Justification Type

Specifies the justification type for the branch.

BranchJustificationType_UNDEFINED = 0

Undefined justification type.

BranchJustificationType_CENTER = 1

The center-line of the branch passes through the offset-point.

BranchJustificationType_OUTER = 2

The outer edge of the branch touches the offset point.

BranchJustificationType_INNER = 3

The inner edge of the branch touches the offset point.

Branch Offset Type

Specifies the branch offset type associated with the object.

BranchOffsetType_UNDEFINED = 0

Undefined offset type.

BranchOffsetType_CENTER = 1

There is no offset. The port is located on the center line of the feature to which you are adding this port.

BranchOffsetType_TANGENTIAL = 2

This is equivalent to specifying an offset equal to half the outer dimension.

BranchOffsetType_USER_DEFINED = 3

The offset magnitude is user-defined. The software determines the offset vector using the appropriate methods.

Branch Penetration

Specifies the branch penetration associated with the object.

Branch Penetration Type

Specifies the branch penetration type associated with the object.

BranchPenetrationType_UNDEFINED = 0

Undefined penetration type.

BranchPenetrationType_CENTER = 1

The branch penetrates to the center of the header.

BranchPenetrationType_SURFACE = 2

The branch touches the surface of the header.

BranchPenetrationType_USER_DEFINED = 3

The magnitude of penetration is user-defined. The penetration is stored in the BranchPenetration property.

Branch Position Affinity

Specifies the position affinity associated with the object.

BranchPositionAffinity_UNDEFINED = 0

Undefined position affinity.

BranchPositionAffinity_NONE = 1

The affinity of the branch is computed based on rules and remains consistent.

BranchPositionAffinity_UP = 2

The branch emanates from the upper half of the header. Up is with respect to the absolute Z direction.

BranchPositionAffinity_DOWN = 3

The branch emanates from the lower half of the header. Down is with respect to the absolute Z direction.

BranchPositionAffinity_TOP = 4

The branch is towards the top face of the header. This is applicable where the cross-section is rectangular, oval or U-shaped. Top corresponds to positive V direction of the cross-section.

BranchPositionAffinity_BOTTOM = 5

The branch is towards the bottom face of the header. This is applicable where the cross-section is rectangular, oval or U-shaped. Bottom corresponds to negative V direction of the cross-section.

Commodity Option

Specifies short code for the primary commodity object from the Piping job specification.

Created by

Specifies the name of the person who created the object.

Date Created

Specifies the creation date of the object.

Date Last Modified

Specifies the date of the last modification to the object.

Last Modified by

Specifies the name of the person who last modified the object.

NCD Unit Type

Specifies the units for the NCD value. Select mm or in from the list.

Nominal Conduit Diameter

Specifies the nominal diameter (NCD) of the straight feature. If displays in the box, the NCD for the straight feature is inherited from the conduit run to which the straight feature belongs. If the icon does not display, and you want to use the conduit specification from the conduit run, select Use Run NCD. If you have manually selected the part, the NCD of the selected part displays and you cannot change it.

Offset Vector Reversed

Indicates whether the offset vector is reversed.

Outer Diameter

Specifies the outer diameter of the object.

Percent Fill

Specifies the percent cable fill in the cableway feature.

Type

Specifies the types of straight features allowed by the selected Specification and Nominal Conduit Diameter. Straight features are listed by short codes. You can change the straight feature type if needed. If you have manually selected the part, this box displays Part selected manually and cannot be changed.
