Displays properties for foundation ports. Each piece of equipment is expected to have at least one foundation port with two or more holes. The foundation port determines the placement of the foundation to appropriately support the equipment. The foundation is then designed, using the bolt hole pattern from the foundation port of the equipment, to support the equipment in the functionally required position.
The order in which the properties display in your view depends on your configuration.
Approval State
Specifies the status of the selected object or filter. Changing this property sets the Status. The display depends on your access level. You might be unable to change the status of the object. The list is defined by the ApprovalStatus codelist.
Smart 3Dx saves an object to the database when you change that object's status. Use Undo (CTRL + Z) to reverse the status change.
You can only edit or manipulate an object with a status of Working.
Behavior Controlled by User
Specifies whether you can delete the object or not. Select False to prevent anyone from deleting the object from the model.
Bolt Circle Diameter
Specifies the diameter of the circle on which the bolt holes are drilled. Smart 3Dx spaces the bolt holes evenly around this circle. For example, the bolt circle for four bolt holes might look something like the following figure:
Created By
Specifies the name of the person who created the object.
Date Created
Specifies the creation date of the object.
Date Last Modified
Specifies the date of the last modification to the object.
Distance Between Holes (X)
Specifies the distance between the bolt holes on the x-axis of the foundation port.
Distance Between Holes (Y)
Specifies the distance between the bolt holes on the y-axis of the foundation port.
Footprint Offset
Specifies the offset value to be used by Structure when the software constructs the foundation for the foundation port. Smart 3Dx does not currently use this property.
Hole Diameter
Specifies the diameter of the bolt holes.
Hyperlink
Specifies the URL or local file path associated with the object. Click the hyperlink to open the page or object in your default browser. Point to the hyperlink to display the URL or path as a tooltip.
Description
Specifies the descriptive text associated with the hyperlink.
URL
Specifies the web address or local file name associated with the hyperlink. The URL must include the protocol, such as http: or https:, as well as the domain name. For example, https://hexagonppm.com/.
ID
Specifies the identification associated with the foundation port.
Last Modified by
Specifies the name of the person who last modified the object.
Liner Thickness
Specifies the thickness of the liner for the foundation port.
Name
Specifies the name of the selected object. If the name is too long to entirely display in the box, point to the box to display the complete name as a tool tip. If the name is not defined by a rule, User Defined displays. If this name is generated by a naming rule, Naming Rule displays. If you type a name in this box, Smart 3Dx automatically changes the naming rule to User Defined.
Number of Bolt Holes in X
Specifies the number of bolt holes on the x-axis of the foundation port.
Number of Bolt Holes in Y
Specifies the number of bolt holes in the y-axis of the foundation port.
Number of Holes
Specifies the number of bolt holes for the foundation port.
Orientation
Specifies the orientation for the object with respect to the local coordinate system. Use the Bearing, Pitch, and Roll properties to change the orientation of the selected object.
Position
Specifies the intersection point of the object to the axis. Use the East, North, and Elevation properties to change the position.
Port Reference
Specifies the position of the foundation port. This property is available when the Type is set to Rectangular Foundation Port. The list is defined by the GeometryPlacementType codelist.
Center
Indicates that the graphic construction of the foundation port takes place from the center of the foundation port.
First Bolt Hole Location
Indicates that the graphic construction of the foundation port takes place from the first bolt hole location of the foundation port.
Type
Specifies the type of foundation port. The available types are Rectangular Foundation Port, Circular Foundation Port, Single Hole, and No Hole. The Type changes the other properties available on the foundation port.
